This book is intended for teachers and parents to read to children aged between 3-5 years. However, older children can still benefit from the use of this book, especially if reading independently. It is designed to help children identify and understand some pre- and early- number concepts and relevant vocabulary while engaging them in a gripping tale of adventure. It focuses on areas of a typical national mathematics pre-school syllabus. Introducing number concepts to children using real world scenarios, can help children better understand mathematics. Integrating relevant mathematics vocabulary with other subject areas into a culturally rich story can increase the cognitive level of children.
