Shape the Future Now

Church leaders, politicians, community leaders and parents often challenge young people with the mantra You are the future! But do the speakers really believe their own words. Are they conscious that they are the ones who are shaping the future when they interact with children and young people? The purpose of this book is to raise that consciousness. In Shape the Future Now the author identifies major trends among youth and discusses what these negative trends could mean for family life, community life, and national in the future. He doesn’t stop there; rather, he goes on to show how the church, the state and parents can bring about a different future by putting in place policies and programs which empower children. But everyone would have to act now, and work decisively and in unison, to shape the future now.
