LeAp: A Collection of Poems

LeAp is a celebration of life – a woman’s life – the life of a mother – a wife – a daughter – an Island girl. With carefully crafted prose, the author creates images, sounds and emotions based on her experiences and observations. The writer pens the feelings of a first time mother. Her emotions shift to thoughts women have as they struggle to find that delicate balance of family, career and community. The author cannot deny she is a part of the greater world, capturing the news and tragedy that are pressing on the safety of home.
